Adam Crawford, a Junior from Sharon and a first year student in Electronics Technology, shows the robot and FM radio transmitter that he made. The robot is a one board computer controlled robot and the FM radio transmitter is being modulated by touch tones. Great Work Adam!!

Congratulations to our MCCC STRIVE Student of the Week – Isabella Axtell. Isabella is a Junior from Reynolds High School and was selected by her Electronics Technology Instructor, Mr. Ryan. Isabella is a first-year student who starts to work as soon as she enters the class and continues to work until the end of class. I have observed Isabella volunteering to assist other students on class and lab projects as well as working with the class tours for new students. She is at the top of the shop on all her labs and projects. Isabella shows her dedication, integrity and professionalism in the performance of her duties and responsibilities as a student within the electronics program every day. I am sure she will do well in her future endeavors.

Adam Crawford, a Sharon Junior, is a first year student in Electronics Technology and he is repairing a DVD player. Erik Thomas and Stephen Ziegler, are both Juniors from Commodore Perry. Erik is working on a digital trainer and Stephen is making a fiber optic light transmitter.

In Electronics Technology, James Chase and Colin Grove, build a TTL Binary Calculator. A binary adder is a digital circuit that performs the arithmetic sum of two binary numbers. Students also work on building digital clocks, digital logic labs and digital logic trainers.
