The Fredonia Lions Club awarded scholarships to two deserving MCCC graduates. Each recipient qualified by being active in school service programs and service to their respective communities, while excelling in their education at their home school districts and the career center.
Four students were nominated by a committee from MCCC and two received awards from the Lions:
Sydney Stainbrook, graduate from Greenville HS, enrolled in the Precision and Production Metals Program at the career center. Sydney will continue her studies in Mechanical Engineering at Penn State Behrend..
Joseph Varga, graduate from West Middlesex HS, enrolled in the Diesel Technology Program at MCCC. Joseph has entered the work force as a diesel mechanic with Mercer County Regional Council of Governments.
