Before you start building your resume, make sure you can do these four things:

📧 Access Your MCCC Email

Make sure you know how to log in to your Mercer County Career Center email account. Important updates and instructions will be sent to your school email.

☁️ Save Documents to OneDrive

Use your OneDrive account to save and organize your resume and other documents. This keeps your files secure and makes them easy to access from any device.

📋 Copy and Paste Skills

Practice copying and pasting text between documents and web pages. This will help you transfer information efficiently when building your resume.

📝 Save as Word Documents

When you finish your resume, save it as a Word document (.docx). This format is preferred by employers and makes it easy to edit or share your resume.

MCCC Student Resume Agent

Welcome to the Mercer County Career Center Resume Agent Portal!
We’ve created dedicated resume agents for each program to help students quickly and easily build professional resumes tailored to their field of study. This new process is designed to streamline resume creation, making it more efficient and less stressful for both students and instructors. By using these agents, students can focus on showcasing their skills and experience, while ensuring their resumes meet industry standards.

Step 1: Log Into Your MCCC Email Account

  • Go to the Mercer County Career Center website or your email login page.

  • Enter your school email address and password.

  • Check your inbox for any instructions or links related to the resume agent.

Step 2: Access the Resume Agent Webpage

  • Click the link above to access your program’s resume agent (e.g., Welding, Carpentry, Logistics, Electrical).

Step 3: Start Your Resume

  • Click on your program’s resume agent.

  • You may see a prompt like:
    “Welcome! Ready to build your resume? Click ‘Start’ to begin.”

  • Click Start or Begin.

Step 4: Enter Your Information

  • Follow the on-screen prompts to enter your name, contact info, education, skills, and work experience.

  • If you’re unsure what to write, use the sample prompts or examples provided by the agent.

Step 5: Review and Edit

  • Check your resume for spelling and accuracy.

  • Use copy and paste to move information from Co-Pilot agent to a Microsoft Word document.

Step 6: Save Your Resume to OneDrive

  • When finished, click Download or Save.

  • Choose Save as Word Document (.docx).

  • Save the file to your OneDrive account so you can access it later.

Step 7: Share or Submit

  • If required, email your resume to your instructor.

  • Make sure you’re using your MCCC email account for all communications.
