
A lot of delicious doughnuts were sold during Doughnut Day! Thanks to everyone who got a doughnut and a big thank you to NTHS for hosting the event!

The Mercer County Career Center will be operating on a Flexible Instruction Day today, January 23. Students are to complete their first FID packet to be turned in tomorrow upon their return.

In December, SkillsUSA hosted our second annual door decorating contest. This year we incorporated a pet food drive to benefit the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter and a coin drive to benefit Mercer County Career Center Teacher Association Scholarship Fund. In total, Students raised $288.00 for the student scholarships fund and donated 600 pounds of pet supplies to the shelter.





The seniors in the Collision Repair & Refinishing program designed this awesome pedal car for the Pedal Car Challenge at the World of Wheels Car Show hosted in Pittsburgh but unfortunately they couldn't present it due to weather.

Our Skills USA is collecting Cat/Dog food, treats, etc. in accordance with the door decorating contest! The contest runs until December 15th. All donations go to Shenango Valley Animal Shelter so make sure you bring in food and coins to help out your class and more importantly those sweet faces!

Our Toys for Tots drive was a great success! Overall total was 461 toys and $419. The morning winners: Early Childhood Education 41 toys and Culinary Arts $150. The afternoon winners: Cosmetology 179 toys and Culinary Arts $101. The winning programs won a pizza party provided by NTHS and the class with the most toys will get to pie teachers and staff during our holiday party as an extra reward!
