This is a special reminder to everyone that we will return from the holiday break, tomorrow, Monday January 4 on our hybrid schedule. Underclassmen should report on Monday and Tuesday and 2nd and 3rd years report on Thursday and Friday. Everyone will continue to sign in on Canvas on line learning on Wednesdays and the days you are not scheduled for in person classes. We'd also like to remind you that if you have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for the COVID virus in the past 10 days, should observe a personal quarantine for a full 10 days after your exposure. If you are experiencing a fever, sore throat, cough or other flu-like symptoms, you should remain at home until symptom free for 24 hours without medication, or until after you received a negative covid test. Please continue to check our website and your school email for any updates.

Classes at the career center will resume during the week of Monday, November 2nd. However, not all students will return to school on the same day. There will be different starting days for different groups of students who attend the career center. Please check the schedule on our web site at mercerccc.org to determine on what day your student will return to class at the career center. On the days that your student does not report to the career center, he or she will continue to sign into the Canvas Learning System to continue on line training. If you have any questions regarding the hybrid return schedule, you should call the school during regular business hours. Parents are reminded that you should not send your student to school if they are exhibiting cold or flu symptoms or running a fever. Thank you for your cooperation and continue to be safe.

Good evening. This is an important message from Mercer County Career Center for our students. The Career Center was informed on Friday morning of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 affecting individuals who attend our school. If your student was in close contact with these individuals, you will receive a phone call from the PA Department of Health to notify you. Due to the increase of positive cases of COVID-19 in our facility, we are taking the steps recommended by the PA Department of Health and the Department of Education to move our education model to remote learning from Monday, October, 26th thru Friday, October 30th. Students will not report to the career center during this time, but will continue their education remotely through the Canvas Learning Management System. Students should log into Canvas and check their MCCC email regularly. We will notify you next week regarding any updates to the schools’ schedule. In the meantime, we will be deep cleaning the facility to prepare for our student’s return. Thank you and have a good evening.
