
Executive Board members of MCCC-SKILLS USA present a check in the amount of $1000 to a representative of the Shenango Valley Animal Shelter. The service project was the culmination of MCCC Holiday Door contest. The winning doors are also pictured.



197 Students had perfect attendance in December, and 184 had perfect attendance in January! Congratulations to the students selected to win special gift card prizes for their efforts! Incentive prizes are sponsored by the Mercer County Career Center Foundation.





MCCC had a special assembly to honor students who won medals at the SKILLS USA District 10 Competitions held in New Castle PA last month. Gold medal winners will go to Hershey PA in April for state-wide competition. 14-Gold, 7-Silver, 6-Bronze (Not all winners pictured)

Congratulations to our own Hermitage cheerleaders, Angelina Blough (Welding Program) and Kylie Hoffman (Diesel Mechanics program) and the rest of the Hornet's squad, as they finished runners-up in the PIAAA AA large school State cheerleading championship at Hershey last weekend!

The first day of school for Mercer County Career Center is Thursday, August 25th for all career center students, regardless of when your home school district starts. You should contact your home school district for transportation information. Students may drive beginning the first day, and should contact the MCCC Safety Coordinator for a driving pass as soon as possible. Riders are also required to have a permission slip signed by parent/guardians and home school principals.

The newest technological addition to MCCC...Health Care Careers students study human anatomy on the Anatomage Table, a fully segmented real human 3D anatomy system.


MCCC Precision Production Metals students Casey Myers (10th Greenville) and Geno Grasso (11th Sharon) completed a special key fob project for Pennsylvania State Police - Mercer Barracks and received a thank you letter from the commander of the unit.
