Congratulations to Culinary Arts Seniors, Zachary Kennedy and Rowan Thomas on recently achieving their ServSafe certifications. Zachary will graduate from Commodore Perry High School and Rowan will graduate from Jamestown. Both students are planning to pursue post-secondary education.

Congratulations Olivia Krumpak, Senior Carpentry Student from Reynolds HS who was awarded a special scholarship from the Pennsylvania Builders Assoc., for her outstanding dedication and commitment to the Carpentry profession. She was endorsed by the Mercer County Builders Assoc.

Congratulations Lucas Canon, 11th grade Diesel Technology Student, Sharpsville HS who placed 1st in Skills District Competitions this past January in the Diesel Technology contest. For his accomplishment, Lucas received a scholarship to Universal Technical Institute, presented by Scott Earley, Admissions Rep for Western PA.
Lucas is being presented the scholarship by Mr. Early, as Mrs. Stephanie Schneider, Dean of Students, SKILLS USA-PA District 10 President, and Mr. Jacob Toth, Diesel Tech Instructor look on.


MCCC National Technical Honor Society officers and members hosted a special teacher appreciation luncheon for their teachers in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. Senior members were also recognized and presented their cords and sashes for graduation.





MCCC Culinary Arts Students under the direction of Chef Paul Pryborowski prepared homemade baguets that were donated to the Community Food Warehouse of Mercer County for distribution to their clients.

Congratulations Andrew McConnell (Hermitage/Precision Production Metals/2023) and Hunter Umstead (Reynolds/Collision Repair & Refinishing/2023) who signed on with Elwood Crankshaft Group for permanent positions starting this summer at the end of the school year. Andrew and Hunter are completing their senior year at ECG in the MCCC Cooperative Education program.
